A new Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage clip shows Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry) and Meemaw (Annie Potts) appearing in the first episode. The Big Bang Theory spinoff series takes place after Young Sheldon and features many of the same characters and cast members. It Is A Smooth Transition From Young Sheldon
While it was known that Mary, Meemaw, and other prominent Young Sheldon characters would be in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the clip confirms that the two women will quickly be incorporated into the spinoff series’ story. Mary and Meemaw are going to continue playing important roles in Georgie’s life, even though he is no longer living with or across the street from them. The relationship dynamics he had with both of them in Young Sheldon will be carrying over into the new series.
